Ergonomic H-Series Enclosures Serpac's ergonomically designed H-Series Enclosures offer electronics designers the perfect housing for hand-held, portable or desk-top electronics. The H-Series features a recessed top for mounting membrane keypads or labels, and PCB mounting pillars in the top and base parts. The three-part design is easily assembled using four or six self-tapping screws and includes a removable end panel, which can be used for fitting LED's, connectors or switches. Three standard colours are offered: grey, black and almond, with custom colours also available on request. Manufactured from ABS (UL 94 HB), these enclosures are available with or without various battery compartment options to accommodate 2 x 1.5V AAA cells, 2 or 4 x 1.5V AA cells, or 1 x 9V PP3 cell. Prices start at around £5. Accessories include a pocket clip that is welded to the base, replacement end panels in infra-red, clear and red, and black or clear self-adhesive feet. Electronics designers are also offered a full customising service on these enclosures with CNC milling, silk-screen printing and much more, to provide a fully finished housing ready for mounting the components.
