New larger size S-Series enclosures Serpac has added new larger size enclosures to its S Series. The range is now available in a huge range of sizes. The new sizes range from the 071 with dimensions of 174.7x124.0x23.0mm, up to the 193 model of 241.3x161.0x63.6mm, and the special long version 182, 360.9x123.8x51.0mm. These S Series enclosures are ideal for a broad range of hand-held or wall-mounted applications. Versions include models with recessed tops for mounting keypads or labels, and with or without a 1 x 9V cell battery compartment. Assembly is easy with four or six self-tapping screws, and internal PCB mounting pillars are located in the top and base. Manufactured from robust ABS (UL 94 HB), the S Series is available in standard colours of grey, black or almond. Other colours can be produced from a colour chip or from a pantone reference number to suit most customer requirements. Electronics designers are also offered a full customising service on these enclosures with CNC milling, silk-screen printing and much more, providing a bespoke solution for every need.
